Premier League Preview

So the Nations League is complete until next summer. Who would have thought after England received a lesson from Spain that they would now be favourites to lift the…..Trophy I think it is in Portugal next summer. With the Premier leagues Top stars performing well whilst on duty, it will be interesting to see them back in action for their club sides. Our own performance pre break has been shocking and this week will just be all about the results. This will be followed up by a pre Christmas overview of the season so far. Let’s try and get back on track as SPORTSvox takes a look at the fixtures this week in our Premier League preview.

Brighton v Leicester

Tight encounter, Brighton strong at home but fancy Leicester to sneak a point.

Prediction: 1 – 1

Everton v Cardiff

Everton to continue their good form despite Cardiff grabbing a couple of wins in recent weeks.

Prediction: 2 – 0

Fulham v Southampton

Ranieri’s first game in charge will be interesting. I expect them to be a little tighter against a Southampton team light on goals. A first win on the cards?

Prediction: 2 – 1

Man United v Crystal Palace

I expect a comfortable if not spectacular United performance and the pressure to continue on Hodgson.

Prediction: 2 – 0

Watford v Liverpool

Should be a good test for Liverpool, expecting a few goals here and for them to just shade it.

Prediction: 1 – 2

West Ham v Man City

The machine rolls on here, West Ham might put up a fight for a while but with Arnautovic seeming unsettled the serach for goals continues.

Prediction: 0 – 3

Tottenham v Chelsea

Should be a great encounter here. The English in the Tottenham side fully buoyed by recent English National success. But Chelsea are a different team this year and will relish getting one over against their London rivals.

Prediction: 1 – 2

Bournemouth v Arsenal

One for the footballing purists here. Arsenal will be looking to continue their good form but I think Bournemouth will relish getting up against this Arsenal defense and take a share of the spoils here.

Prediction: 2 – 2

Wolves v Huddersfield

I don’t think Huddersfield will be able to contain the Wolves attacking threat. They might sneak something from a set piece but Wolves to gain the three points.

Prediction: 2 – 1

Burnley v Newcastle

Not the most attractive match to finish the week but three points is really required for both teams. Burnley to come out on top of a tough encounter.

Prediction: 2 – 0
